Our Story

It’s been my dream for many years to open a Bed and Breakfast. Finally, after twenty-five years planning and hoping we opened our doors on October 22, 2016.

My husband and I designed and built the house. Bill is a master craftsman, a cabinet maker, and my all-around handyman; and he always wanted to build his own house which finally happened in 1989. However, it’s been a life long project. We’re always finding new things to add to our home.

I used to paint and hang wallpaper and when we built the house I had the pleasure of decorating it with all the items I had collected over the years. An antique hutch from a local house in Hopewell Township dated back to the Revolutionary War Era sits in my dining room and is hand-painted by my niece.  I also decorated the upstairs bathroom with murals of my daughter’s favorite childhood character, Winnie the Pooh. That is what everything in our house is about, family. From the room, I once decorated for my granddaughter to the dining room where the family gathers around to celebrate birthdays, holidays or a home-cooked meal during the week.

And if you ask any of my grandchildren they will tell you: I make the Best Apple Pie.
